More snow (photos)

Got up and went for a run this morning. Again, we all had slightly different agendas for the day so Charlie and I went swimming in Musselburgh. We came home via the back roads and Charlie was happy for us to stop now and again so I could take some photographs. One of the reasons we went to Musselburgh pool was so Charlie could get a packet of fruit polos from the cafe. I suspect he would not have tolerated the numerous stops so well if he didn't have these polos to keep him occupied.

I thought the snow was going yesterday but it was bitter cold today so the thaw was stopped in its tracks. When you go a bit out of town to somewhere that's slightly higher up, there's still an awful lot of snow around. This is the view on the road that leads to Fa'side castle.

I've been trying to keep snowy shots to a minimum here but there's no getting away from it just yet.
