The Not-Friday Feeling

We all had dippy eggs and bacon for breakfast. We’ll be running out of eggs soon but they’re nice while they last!
And I made a vat of delicious carrot, lentil and cumin soup. My God it’s tasty. Though I say so myself!!!
Miss E hasn’t left the house this week so I asked did she want to come out with me and Archie this afternoon. I was surprised when she said yes!
It was lovely.
Until it wasn’t. Sigh.
But the sun was shining, the daffodils are out, everywhere’s gorgeous and green.
And there are still biscuits!!
