Painting in the Sky

What a cracker of a day today - and a cracker of a sunset as the icing on the cake.

People in the village were out in their gardens (jealous), and the first real sound of Spring was upon us - the sound of the Almighty Strimmer......

Bad feeling in school, however. The Region is insisting on us losing 3 members of staff, at least on paper. The trouble is that in our wee school, loads of people are sole teachers in departments. So, lose a person means a department closing. How can we possibly do this? And why should we?

There will be more to come, I feel, in that I shall be using Blip to vent my feelings about these politicians and the effect they are having on a dedicated, hard working group of people.
