Such beauty in the unfolding of this flower.

A dreary day out there...cold and misty.....so i stayed put, did a bit of painting....actually i completely obliterated the one i've been working on for the past week....sometimes you just need to start over!   Then i had a Zoom session with an artist in California, Andrea Wedell, whose work i've long admired.   She does these consultations via Zoom, we talk about a painting i'm working on....it's a bit weird, and sometimes i feel like i just really need to immerse myself with a teacher for an extended period of time....some day!   anyway, it was cool (and a bit too expensive for my pocket book right now!) but it was well worth it, she gave me some good suggestions and some direction.    Then i spent about an hour and half on that piece...not sure what to make of it right now!!!

Terry and i watched a couple of episodes of a Netflix series..... "Self Made....the inspired story of Madam C. J. Walker!!!   It's really good so far!
