Snowy Walk
Snow Walk to Town
We decided to get some exercise and walk into Town and visit the Great North Museum. It was a long walk, trudging through snow, ice and increasingly lots of slush. The snow is starting to melt, but now there is a risk of flooding apparently. It is still very pretty however, as you can see from this picture of the path between the trees. Everything will be saturated tomorrow, but there is a promise of milder weather on the way. We hope we can all start to dry out!
Home now, and Chicken Korma for dinner. Then we are hoping for a Murray win tomorrow morning. BTW, things may be looking up for NUFC now we have signed half of the French team. I wonder what they will make of 'Geordieland', the Bigg market and the wonderful Geordie accent. Interesting times ahead...
As for the Triple Dip Recession....a topic (rant) for another day methinks..
