Seeing Double

Funny old day. Had less 6 hours sleep, and only a 75 score of Fair on my Fitbit !! :-(  Took  a little while to get going. Got washing out on the line and hoped it wouldn't rain as it was  very grey and chilly.

After lunch, shopping list in hand drove around to Sainsbury's. They are so well organised. 2m tape keeps you in line and they count customers out before letting people in. They now have screens up to protect us and the staff at the check out. Got everything I wanted. 

I then popped down to Tesco Extra to get a couple of things that the other store doesn't stock. Now Tesco have been running an advert on TV on how to shop with under the present circumstances. It is a very good advert. But it certainly doesn't relate to the Extra store. They haven't got screens in yet for their staff, and the floor signage is not good. Maybe the Manager should go up to S'bury's and take note! Very disappointed.

On the good side of the day, had the Chat & Gin meet on WhatsApp with Sue, Pen and Trish, then after dinner, went out at 8pm for the Applause for the Key Workers across the UK. Neighbours up the road had put music on while we clapped. Quite a moving experience :-)
