Surprise birthday treat

Was told that I needed to do a packed lunch for Charlotte as we were going out for lunch. No other clues were given.
We ended up at bhan Thai, possibly the nicest takeaway we ever have, but we were eating in today. Lovely food, great to have some quality family time and Charlotte was sooooooooo good for the whole meal.
Went for a drive on way back to ensure Charlotte would sleep when we got home, she did, I failed to do anything productive so need to start work now.
Grotty week ahead with long staff meeting Tuesday ( great way to spend your birthday) lee also away.... Oh well, getting too old for them anyhow.
