cooking:  a mushroom & bacon pasta sauce using rather tired chestnut 'shrooms & dried chanterelles. there will be some cream added.
later:  the third crop of oyster mushrooms we've been growing ourselves has been presented to me to add to our sauce.
this is going to be an unexpectedly delicious feast!
i have also added a couple of cloves of smoked garlic.  

...if only we'd stockpiled some pasta!

perhaps some loo roll will suffice.
