Female Kestrel

It's not everyday I look at one of my pictures with as much satisfaction as I got with this shot of a female Kestrel. It was taken at a distance of about 50 metres and the camera was hand held..but elbows resting on a fence post. Camera used was my Canon SX50HS bridge camera. This is the best of about 40 shots. She was hunting in a horse's paddock and several times pounced from her perch into long grass but I never sasw her catch anything.
