Snow!

I appreciate that everyone's probably had enough snow photos for one year but I couldn't resist this, this morning; the blue and the white are gorgeous, together.

I do love the snow, despite the ever present hazard of falling over (for me, anyway) and also the transport issues that arise from it (tonight's cinema trip tonight cancelled).

Adequately wrapped up (and padded!) I also love cinematic quality of walking through the snow but mostly I love the magic it brings to familiar views, making the coal-blackened houses and dingy streets beautiful, whilst lending a whole new majesty to the hills and a coherence to any view.
