More Signs Of Spring
For some reason these two plants together appealed to me, different shades of green - anything green is appealing right now amidst the brown but I did take a little nature walk in the woods on and around our yard and there was actually a lot of green. I love when the "peepers" emerge and there is a cacophony of sound to break up the stillness of the night and even the day on that very special day.
The spring peeper (Pseudacris crucifer)[2] is a small chorus frog widespread throughout the eastern United States and Canada. They are so called because of their chirping call that marks the beginning of spring. *
I've put a couple of others in Extras.Shot #one is the vernal pond where they came out for the first time last week. And that crazy boulder all covered in moss and surrounded by pine needles just looked, well, appealing too I guess.
Trying to keep safe and come up with "alternate plans" for things I do on a regular basis that involves no social distancing.
