Progress

Yet another postcard from the allotment! But it shows some progress because I managed to finish readying part of this veggie bed and sowed some lettuce, rocket and beetroot. Might be a little early as there’s still the chance of frost but there are plenty more seeds in the packets. I’d already lifted and replanted all the strawberries that I planted yesterday - should probably have read their planting guide a day earlier. Sigh.
This bed will eventually also hold broccoli, endive, spinach, chard, courgettes, cucumbers, coriander & whatever else I can squeeze in. Peas and beans in another bed, spuds in the third. We do a rotation system, seems to work OK.

Had another FaceTime session this evening, this time to sunny Arizona. Good to see that all’s well there and that house improvement work is well underway!
