Renewed Growth

A few weeks ago when we were experience the fires and drought I posted an image of the banksias dying and the trees in distress at Wombat Hollow.  It’s a very different picture these days and as I walked out to the rock in the late afternoon I was heartened to see many of the trees in full recovery mode.  Even though the world is in crises with the Corona Virus, nature is still soldiering on and doing what it does best.

Another day beavering away with some landscaping ideas and our project now is to create a dry rock bed and track in front of the Waratah Room.  When this has been completed I will need to draw a mud map for myself so that I don’t get lost when I’m walking around the property :). It’s very satisfying work and certainly taking my mind of all things Corona based.
