Day of contrasts

Today is gone. Thank goodness. I had waffles for brunch, highlight of the day. I had two online meetings, one was fun the other serious. Went for a walk, lovely. Did a load of washing, disastrous. The drain hose leaked all of the water into the floor and saturated our carpet in the dining room and two areas downstairs. I used every towel in the house to clean up the mess and will now spend all day tomorrow washing and drying towels. Just as well the weather forecast is good.
