Why do we bother?
Why do we bother cooking cake mixture when it tastes so good raw? I remember episodes with my sister when we were given the mixing bowl, with two teaspoons frantically vying to get the best bits. Now I'm the cook I can have it all! Ben & Jerry have an ice cream recipe which includes lumps of uncooked cake mixture - I must try it one day.
My old Kenwood has served me well for 45 years. I should hate to be without it. They have the same model in the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke!
