Waiting

D's car refused to take him to work this morning, wheels spinning in the deep snow. So he ran.. all 10 miles. At lunchtime I managed to drive (in 3rd gear) into town to fetch Youngest Son. Then I came back to fetch D. In between, I had a nice walk along the Nith to Kingholm Quay and while I waited for D I took some photos of the hospital. It was opened by the Queen in 1975 but a new one is going to be built soon and the old site used to build a new High School for Dumfries.
