A walk in the park.

Still no rain after 19 days. Walked up to the park as   it is well over a week since we went. We expected it to be busy .. but it was quiet.. a  few people walking, the odd runner. The gardeners are still working , the grass was being cut and the flower beds were blooming. The scent of the hyacinths was gorgeous.
Sad that all the garden centre s have been forced to close. It couldn't have happened at a worse time for them.
Being able to potter in the garden at the moment has never been so stress relieving. Now it s possible we won't get the chance to get any plants.
 Last week M decided that the begonias that had overwintered in my window boxes were 'past it ' and removed them .I wish he'd left them as I could have probably nursed them back to life..and they would have looked better than just soil. I'm hoping I can find a few seedlings in the garden and transplant them.
