Beinn a’ Chaorainn

Beinn a’ Chaorainn  is the hill in the background. There seems to be a lot of Caley blips currently
Had to go to the town today to go to bank. A cheque we had posted by recorded delivery was not received at the branch. It was the painful remittance of our corporation, (more than Shell pay in the UK because they have tax efficient alternative avenues),
On present turnover this wont be a problem next year.

If you are not aware, the 80% wage contribution mechanism has not been presented to employers. For it to be realised employers must provide this in the pay packet real time if not, it cannot be recovered retrospectively. Its no wonder the scheme is so unpopular with big firms. In addition to the loss of all incoming revenue, businesses must still continue with plant/equipment lease costs, premises, rent, council tax, insurances and so on. Organisations need deep pockets to pay 80% wages, even for a few weeks.
