Fancy That

A Fancy Auricula catching the eye in the greenhouse today.  There are myriad different ones, hybrids of cultivation, popularly seen displayed in so called Auricula Theatres.   I have a few but struggle to keep them in top condition .... something to work on.

Another morning of cleaning and admin followed by an afternoon planting a range of the plants I brought over from Norfolk into my friend's garden.  I had hoped that they would go into the ground at the bungalow but with a lengthy delay likely they will be much happier in the ground than stuck in pots for longer.  I won't struggle to fill the new (tiny) garden when the time comes.

Walking back I chatted to a friend  - safely distant over their garden wall.  The best place to give the dogs a run is a wild space just outside the town where they can run free.  She drives there - it's less than a mile away - but today the police cautioned her that they would be cracking down on people driving to these places.  Walking them in town involves much more chance of unwanted close contact with other folk which is inadvisable if you are in a high risk group.   Interpretation of the restrictions is full of potential controversy :-(
