Cautious.

Up early this morning - only because the door fitter man had to come back and adjust the door as there was a draught along the bottom. Mr PB had been out and cleared the drive of the snow that feel last night. But our fitter man turned too quickly whilst reversing off the drive and ended up with the front wheels stuck on the lawn. Turf and soil flew everywhere as he dug himself in. Fortunately another van man stopped and had to tow him off the drive as we could not push a fully loaded van. Now have some repair work to do once all the snow has thawed. I shouldn't have done but I had to laugh.

This afternoon we walked to the bird sanctuary and came across this chap. I got pretty close before he flew of. Not much else about apart from the herons, Canada geese and a small bird that I have still to put a name to. So nice to have some sun today, it makes such a difference. Hopefully this evenings rain will shift a lot of the snow.
