Cooriedog Walk 8 - Hill of Words
Coming around Crow Corner, the Corriedog walk takes through a very marshy area (great for wild flowers later in Spring) before the long climb up the hill. Often, at this point, I try to memorise some poetry. I fetch a poem out of a pocket, do the recitation to the trees and put in another pocket. I have 7 or 8 poems that I have committed to memory and I'm working on 'To a Mouse' by Robert Burns but it is taking some time as there are some unfamiliar words in there.
