Rose

I sometimes wander round the local cemetery but strangely always come back to this stone, which says nothing else but the name Rose. Maybe I knew her in a past life.

Also found the stone today of Sarah Cecilia Mandeville, née Parnell. Caught my eye as it says she was struck by a motor car and killed instantly in 1912 in Hartley Witney, while carrying out evangelical work. An unfortunate fate given that there could not have been many cars on the road at that time. Have spent the last 3 hours trawling the web trying to find out more, because I have loads of time to spare (not)!
