Helpful Sign Post.

The weather's not too bad today, although it is bitterly cold here in Kendal.

I thought this sign post was quite useful. It shows walkers or climbers where the famous Scafell Pike is. Or, for those who are feeling rather more energetic, it points out the direction of Mount Everest.

Incidentally, I've just noticed that the telephone kiosk in the photo offers broadband as well as the telephone. I've never seen this before but it strikes me as really useful.
