Chewed!

These primula were looking lovely. The whole tub was a joy to see from the sun room/back porch. Now the blasted sparrows have been at them!  They only go for certain colours, and these were obviously a favourite!

A day of weird weather today. We had bright sunshine, punctuated by hail stones and flurries of snow, and biting icy winds. This meant that although the temperature in the sun room was up to 43°C, outside, taking the wind chill into account, it dropped to - 0.9°C!  Lottie and I managed a good long walk but we didn't linger, we took it at a brisk pace, and only got caught in a brief shower!
