Casualty Station

This was an Esso petrol station. This is where I bought petrol for the first time (1968), I filled my Triumph Tiger Cub with 3 gallons for £1. There have been a number of different buildings over the years but always Esso. It closed in early December and I assumed it was due for another rebuild, but the signs on the fence say 'Demolition Site'. Another casualty of the recession?
