Lucky shot

A beautiful red cardinal nestled at the back of our garden. This bird adds beauty and colour to what is a dull winter day. Our temps are almost below freezing...brrr!
It was an accidental shot as the idea was to capture a hawk with a mouse clutched to his feet, however the bird blended in so well with the bare trees, and that is when the red popped into view.....how lucky
