Spring Forward

Spring is here and I wish the clocks had gone forward a few months instead of one hour! Focused on my chores this morning scrubbing the bathroom and tending to my plants. This afternoon I watched a film, chatted to a few friends and read a book.

It was blowing a gale and bitter cold when I went out to my recycling bin so I decided not to walk today. Felt better for staying off social media most of the day.

My cousin messaged me this evening. He’s a paramedic and says ‘work is crazy and unfortunately it’s going to get a lot worse before things start improving.’ He’s self isolating from his wife and son to protect them. I so much hope he stays well.
