Hermit Training
When everything was busy and frenetic I quite fancied the idea of being a hermit. Now I have the chance to try it out. After a week I quite like the idea but in a fortnight perhaps not so much. But the golf course round the corner provides a good one hour circuit and we might happen upon a friend, like Mary today, with whom we can have a chummy word of mutual encouragement.
The days are slipping into a routine of
Joe Wicks,
Rowing machine,
Breakfast,
Read more doom and gloom in the paper,
Photo fiddle and email,
FaceTime chat,
DIY task in the garden or garage (not more than one a day),
Walk (see photo)
Cuppa
Evan's 5pm briefing,
More photo fiddling,
Archers (I am rapidly going off it because it bears no resemblance to the real world whereas it was always very realistic)
Dinner,
Post Blip,
Telly, small dose,
Read book,
Bed,
Repeat next day.
But tomorrow I am venturing out to Waitrose which should be exciting. Will report back.
