Look for the beautiful

Out for a walk today, along the lanes around home. Very few cars and just a couple of people. We had another briefing from the States of Guernsey today. They really are doing an excellent job in really difficult times.
In other news, for the last few days we’ve been following the progress of some friends who have been stuck on a cruise ship near Panama. Four people have died and more have the virus so the authorities have been refusing permission to go through the canal. The cruise line decided to move all the healthy people from the original ship to a new one. After being transferred from one ship to another, both ships were finally allowed to travel through the canal en route to Florida. We are hoping and praying that the authorities in Florida will let them dock and disembark soon.
