Hearts For Heroes and Their Patients
A series of what’s apps with a neighbour around the block here in Barcelona, who we normally speak to regularly at the Frankfurt Bar, revealed that he, himself, had had the virus fairly mildly at home, his wife was suffering very badly from it, also at home at the moment, and their eldest son, a very-fit, late-twenties sportsman with no underlying condition had spent a week in intensive care in the heart of hero-land causing huge worry to all as to whether he would pull through or not. He did, thankfully, and is finishing his convalescing at home with his mum.
So, this heart is for the heroic frontline health workers (some of whom I may be coaching shortly) AND their fearful patients and their relatives (like Miguel, Lourdes and Lucas) who are battered by the storm, some coming through to smile and live another day, as they did, and, others, sadly, not.
