Very Pointed.....

I had the bright idea of shooting this pencil in a pool of light which I did using a small LED torch;  it looked O.K. when I checked the back of the camera but here it looks like it's a pencil placed on a white plate.  I didn't want to start again but when I've got some time I'll have another attempt as I can see it perfectly in my minds eye.Thank you ApolloFly for hosting and for coming up with very original challenge themes.
