Incredibly Loved

Nature class with the grandkids today was a bird tally in Rectory Park, behind their house - this was Zion's idea. It was bitterly cold, and I think a lot of the birds were staying warm in their nests, but we saw plenty of crows and wood pigeons, and heard and saw a couple of robins and blue tits, well, some sort of tit, too high up to see them properly. In the garden, we heard a great tit, but didn't manage to see it. Doesn't help to have chatting kids with you!

And we read a poem by Gideon Heugh, here's the first verse:
What a beautiful song you sing,
 Mr Robin.
I love how it opens the sky
 leaving room
for a thousand kinds of delight.

Lent verse is Ephesians 2v4-5:
Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us!

We are all, every one of us, incredibly loved - let yourself believe it.

Gratefuls:
- electric blanket
- chicken soup
- rain in Mourão
