No More Excuses
I have no reason to avoid Doing Jobs, particularly those ones which have been agreed by The Committee and for which I now have plenty of time.
No protestations, no excuses, no whinging from me: I got on with it.
The old paint was the same colour 3 years ago as the new paint, but I made the mistake of covering it with varnish, to make it more robust in a small and busy kitchen. But the varnish merely yellowed (not said on the tin, that I can find) and wasn't very hardy, so we'll make do with frequent re-coating until we can plan a better solution.
