Provisions
As Sundays go, I've had worse.
Our minister had pre-recorded Sunday morning's service and made it available on Facebook and also through a link in an email, so I watched that on Sunday morning. I decided to defer my daily walk until later in the afternoon, taking advantage of British Summer Time, and also decided to walk down to the Scotmid at Bonnybridge, rather than my 'local' one at Haggs. They had vegetables. They had fruit. They were allowing only four shoppers in at one time. Bliss!
The only downside of this wonderful provision was that I had to carry it back home, so loaded with two bags I made my way up onto the Canal (I had walked to Bonnybridge along the pavement beside the main road) and wandered back home from there, stopping for a photo every so often. I felt like a hunter returning to camp with some meaty prey slung over my shoulder. Or maybe that's just the cabin fever taking over.
But it is good to be stocked with fruit and veg again. Let the feasting begin!
