Preparing

The town and surrounding streets are eerily quiet as you would expect during the current situation. Sitting in the lounge reading the foot traffic past the window is almost non existent and most of the buses are empty.

The preparations nationwide, with exhibition centres turned into hospitals and an ice rink being prepared as a morgue, should bring home the seriousness of our predicament to those still doubting.
Falmouth’s preparations have gone almost unnoticed but let’s hope these are not needed too soon.
Clare returns to work Sunday following a week off, Sam remains in east London finishing her third year at Uni and Josh’s unit has moved to ‘Immediate Stand-By’ ready to assist the NHS as the crisis reaches its peak.
