Pie .....

making from Richard's foraging last Autumn.  The apples are from the tree in the garden, the blackberries were picked from the park bushes.  Little Ro made the pie.  The freezer is full of apple and also quince which are nice with creme fraiche.  We did rather procrastinate today as the wind was bitter but luckily by the time we took Little B to the woods around 4pm, the sun came out and we enjoyed a brisk hour of exercise, just the girls this time.  Stopped in on Looby Doo on the way home and saw her through the window once again, better than nothing I suppose but I do worry at the wisdom of cooping up small children and isolating them from all they know for a long length of time.
