Day Five.... The Drive-Through...

Day Five of the nationwide lockdown dawned cool,cloudy and drizzly. Maisie and I walked a different route along the River tracks this morning. We started off in the dark and I wore a light weight head lamp.
Later in the day we headed off in the car to get our annual flu Vaccinations.
Here we were, awaiting our turn, parked up behind the blue car in the drive-through part of the local liquor store. Of course the liquor store was closed... not that I drink alcohol anyway. Springlands Health Medical Practice were operating a drive-thru Flu Vaccination Clinic. It worked very well. A nurse garbed in PPE gave Keith and me our jabs through the car window... while another health worker checked and entered details on a laptop. All very efficient and fast. Thank you Springlands Health for a great service.
