Day 9

Kevin’s first day of freedom! Well as much freedom as is currently allowed. As he had symptoms of covid 19 he had to self isolate for seven days, as it started last Saturday today was the day he could go out. He still has an occasional cough but guidelines say that is expected to continue for some time, also not much effort leaves him slightly breathless
He went shopping and managed to buy nearly everything on my list, including hand soap. Alas the fresh pasta was still missing, but I do have some dry pasta if need be. Later he went for a walk around the neighbourhood he saw two other people out walking, one with a dog the other alone, he crossed the street to avoid contact.
My blip is fresh parsley that has survived the winter but I have cut it today to dress lightly smoked salmon which we had with potatoes, carrots and broccoli- very nice
