A favourite tree. I like how it looks straight as an arrow as you walk down the hill towards it but it’s actually been shaped by the weather and stands at this unlikely angle. I thought of it when SMG mentioned his penchant for a good tree.

Gratefuls:

1. The family being kind when I felt on edge - the long days of lockdown and too much time spent reading the news tipped me into a malaise;
2. Cottage pie;
3. Prayer.
