Tulip

This is the first tulip to come out in our garden. More are getting ready! There is a bud on the left!
Behind the tulip is a clump of comfrey, which we can also find wild beside the local pathways. In fact I took a photo of some yesterday on my daily walk, but did not use it - so I was very surprised to find it flourishing in the garden. I have often wondered why some plants are called weeds, when they can be just as attractive as cultivated plants?
