Fretful

Making the most of the current situation, I decided I'd start practising guitar seriously (which I haven't done for years). Playing my "proper" one over the last few days I've been conscious that it sounds a bit dull, so today I restrung it. On a roll, I decided I'd also have a go at the mandolin I bought on a whim (I just worked it out) 33 years ago and never learned to play, and restring it with the strings I bought, full of good intentions, probably 10 years ago. All went well until a moment of panic when I removed the last string and bridge dropped off!! I never realised that on mandolins they're held on by the tension of the strings, but luckily I worked that out before reaching for the superglue :D
