Gin

A horrible day of alternate wintery showers and brief blasts of sun. Bitterly cold. Gardening duties cancelled in favour of siting in the conservatory and watching the changing weather gin in hand. This is a new one I bought as we couldn’t get Ophir. Rather good!
Spent an inordinate amount of time in the kitchen making a massaman curry from scratch because there was nothing more pressing to occupy my time. I find I’m enjoying joining the slow movement after so many years of spending weekends frantically packing in chores/ pleasures and washing clothes and repacking suitcases. The problem is I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to go back to the road if I’m off it for as long as now seems likely...
