A bit more brightness for these times
A bright day
In the morning we, as a church, had worship and prayers in our own homes, using prepared material and a written sermon. We had been expecting a video of the sermon but, as many are finding, suddenly having to start using technology isn't so easy.
I have been kept busy writing emails and organising money transfers to my Pastor friend in Uganda. The wonder is that he can receive the money the same day and go and buy what he needs. He is also sharing what he is buying with other folk nearby, because the scarcity and price of things like hand sanitiser is so expensive and the prices are doubling rapididly. The good thing is - the money we send from here goes so much further over there.
We are thankful we have the golf course on our doorstep, so we were out for a good walk. We only saw one other family, at a distance, so we felt very safe.
As you can see from the photo, my wife's hard work in the garden is being repaid with a bright display. There is a lot more, but I can only post one photo!
Keep safe and stay well.
