Sitting in on a twig

Hibernation day 8 , lock down day 5
A completely different day weather wise than yesterday. We had several sleety showers with some sun in between and a chilly breeze. I did get out in the garden during the sunny times and dug over the bottom pit ready for the veggies and a few herbs. All the seedlings are doing well with the lettuce starting to appear, you can almost see them stretch up in front of your eyes.
The buzzard and red kite were above the fields , flocks of oyster catchers landed and took off again while the blue,great,coal and long tailed tits flitted to and fro from the feeders.
My brother sent me a photo from his visit to see my Mum and Dad from a distance of course , nice to see their smiling faces :)
I made a fruit salad for pudding which was nice and refreshing.
In the evening we watched ‘The Book Thief’ , a really good film starring some great little actors. We turned the lights off for Earth Hour so watched it in the dark.
Thank you to a fellow blipper for the suggestion, looking forward to next Saturdays ‘trip’ to the Cinema :)
