Radio On

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Punky awoke me early this morning. I took myself into the living room and watched dawn breaking over the garden.

As you can see, the fire is on. It is starting to get a little chilly here lately. Although the house - sun trap that it is - does warm up without the need for the heater in the middle of the day.

There was talk of venturing to the supermarket today. But it evaporated as quickly as the morning rain. Instead, Caro and I sat inside and watched old films all day.

One thing about our latest circumstances is that it is causing us all to pause and reconnect. Today I had online chats with a few old friends, most notably Reg who you may remember from this blip. We promised each other that - when all this shite is over - we will meet up again.

In fact, I had been planning a trip for Caro and me to go Sydney anyway. It would be nice to resurrect this plan once the world starts turning again.

In the meantime, it would make Reg happy to know all of us were listening to music. Here's another thing I have found while surfing this weekend.

It's a musical time machine! Which allows you to sample music from any time or any country! You want to listen to Japanese pop music from the 1960's? Indian rock from the 1980's? Kiwi hits of the 2000's?

If you are anything like me, you'll be playing with this all day.
