One in one Out

The Saturday shop took a wee bit longer than usual this morning with the supermarket operating a ‘one in, one out’ policy but it wasn’t too bad, maybe 10 or 15 minutes in the very orderly, 2 metre distanced queue. And then there was no huge checkout queue of course which was a nice change. Got everything we needed except toilet rolls - I still really don’t get that!
Popped out a bit later to dump the recycling, the temperature had plummeted and it was freezing. Quick decision made not to go to the allotment but to stay warm instead, so have been rattling through today’s Guardian and a Donna Leon book instead, one of my favourite crime writers.
