Not quite warm enough

to dispense with the outer cover!!

It was a warmer night last night, but not so warm during the day. Rain had been forecast so I was set up to work in the potting shed. I divided some ground cover plants and now have loads if they all survive.

I found a packet of lettuce seeds, a freebie with the gardening magazine, so sowed a few in a big tray to get started!!!

The magnolia trees are gradually blooming. I love the way that they have these little top hats which provide protection.
