More conflict

Not war. Just in my head. It’s not always easy to know whether you’re doing the right thing. We learned the local garden centre is still doing business. Phone orders only, pay by card over the phone and collect from the gate. I suspect it’s probably not allowed. It’s not exactly necessary. But, then, we are allowed out for exercise purposes, so if we just happened to walk the dog past their gate and there just happened to be some flowers with our name on them ...

I really have no idea. As I have said before, I would dearly love to be able to support our local traders. While this may have been a bend of the rules, it seemed to us to be reasonably fair.

We’ve swerved the supermarkets as much as we can in favour of smaller shops. And we’re excavating the darker recesses of the kitchen cupboards. So, I just don’t know what works and what doesn’t.
