Never too young to enjoy the sun!

It didn't last all day but it was nice to be out in the sun first thing this morning.

Many will recognise these steps which lead up to Pollok House. For part of last year they were closed for repair .... now there are no broken or wobbly steps.

What you can't see in this photo are the two vans that were parked just beside the steps. As I came along the path I could see between the vans and there was this little girl sitting in such an adult pose. Her parents were behind one of the vans dealing with their rather wet, muddy dog.

Sadly, the the fine weather didn't last and it really got quite chilly in the afternoon. I had hoped to start scarifying the grass but it's still too damp  ... no rush though as I'm not going anywhere soon!
