Blooming Hedgerows

Our bodies still haven't quite adapted to English time yet: waking before 6, then falling asleep in front of the TV before 9 in the evening.

We managed to shop for meals for the weekend; our supermarkets have introduced a queuing system to get in which worked very efficiently.

Our daily exercise involved a walk up to Street Hill where the hedgerows were coming in to bloom very prettily and, with hardly any traffic noise, you could enjoy the birdsong. This unprecedented peace and quiet is one of the compensations in these strange times.
